RNG in the context of this site is not the cryptography concept, but stands for Random Noise Generator. Random numbers actually do have a purpose, whereas noise is just noise and most of the time it is useless. Since I don’t expect many people will pay attention to what I have written here, I tend to think of this as adding my share of random noise to the universe of the Interwebs : ).
